Programs
Honoring Touch™ Retreat: Our retreat dates for 2023 are here! The Honoring Touch™ Retreat combines folk lore, story telling, herbalism, touch, honoring presence, sharing circles, and herbs for a week of intensive but deeply nourishing healing. Some of our participants have reported changes in self-perception and quality of life for years afterwards. This program is always held in an old growth forest because we focus on healing sexual trauma and intimacy, and electromagnetic frequencies have been shown to prevent the body from healing from these issues properly, but old trees have been proven support healing and healthy rebuilding after trauma release. Click here for more information or to apply to join us.
Release the Past Retreat: This is an all-new retreat for 2022! The Release the Past retreat is scheduled for November 11-16th and is held in a very comfortable cabin. It provides 25 hours of intensive healing work which combines sharing circles, hypnosis, EFT, journeying, herbs, and more to help people release emotional and physical charge from trauma in the ancestral and genetic lines as well as what is often experienced as past lives. Each day focuses on a different aspect of healing. We include a day for female-woman-feminine wounds, then wounding around the masculine and masculinity. That’s followed with clearing charge around children who are no longer here and inner child work. Finally, we round off the time with some healing of the LGBTQIA+ experiences in our collective past. You can email us for the information packet if you’re interested at embodyhealing@gmail.com. Use the subject like “RTP Packet” to help keep it from our spam.
Healing Shame EFT and Counseling Intensive: This is a 3 month long online intensive that runs from May 1, 2022 to July 1, 2022. It combines emotional freedom technique, story telling, sharing circles, and spiritual counseling to help clear root causes of shame and shame complexes. It’s designed to be a follow up intensive for after the Honoring Touch™ Retreat. You don’t need to go to the retreat to do this program, though doing so unlocks a discount for participants.
Ritual Woods Weekend: This is a weekend of celebration of all the work that we’ve done through the healing shame events of the Honoring Touch™ Retreat and the Healing Shame Intensive. You must have been a participant in the retreat (but not the intensive) to attend. It’s not meant as a weekend for intensive work or healing, more of a home coming and celebration of what we’ve accomplished. We’ll be doing ceremony at a sacred, secret location that dates back to the time PA was covered in glaciers, and we’ll be exploring wildlife in the woods while enjoying luxury accommodations. This is the joyful, authentic homecoming reunion you wish you had growing up!
Workshops and Classes: We have offered dozens of varieties of workshops and classes over the years. Some examples include Healing with Frame Drums, making various herbal remedies, Improving Intimacy and Communication, working with essential oils, Journeying 101, Healing from Cursework, Use Tea for Healing Body and Mind, Ancestral Healing, Shadow Work and Transforming Personality (we offer this yearly by donation to support the community in the fall), and many others. We offer these ourselves, but you can often book us to teach at your location. If there’s a topic you’d like us to cover, we can probably make that happen. Most programs can be adapted to offer a certificate of completion for participants upon request.
Regular Meetups
Men’s Circle: Presented in partnership with the All Faiths Movement, our men’s circle has been meeting regularly since 2014. We set a focal space with symbols of the phases of life for men in America, then we drum a bit to get on the same page. We pass a talking stick, share what’s on our minds, and support one another. After about an hour and a half, we close the space. We are racially, ethnically, religiously, and identity inclusive. All sexualities and sexes welcome, as long as you primarily identify in a masculine role in life.
Journey Group: Presented in partnership with the All Faiths Movement, our journey groups have been meeting monthly since 2014. This is a place to practice journeying together and experience the support of a regular community, not learn how to journey. Don’t know what journeying is? Click here to find out.
EFT Circles: We offer a variety of these at different times, and they often work differently or have different focuses. Check out the unique event your considering attending for more details.
Women’s Circle: Presented in partnership with the All Faiths Movement and Frick Park, the women’s circle has been meeting weekly in the woods or via Zoom since 2020. The gathering opens with the creation of a focal point dressed with symbols of the feminine phases of life in America and a brief meditation to get everyone on the same page. Then, we talk. After about and hour and a half, the circle is closed. Once a month things work differently and a meeting is held at the Point where the rivers meet, but you can ask about that once we get to know you. All sexualities and sexes welcome, as long as you primarily identify in a feminine role in life.
